BALKANSKA KIBER KORPORACIJA

Mission, national security heritage & operating model

BKK operates as a tightly controlled cyber unit founded by officers from counter-terrorism and national security, created to close the gap between checkbox security and real adversary resistance for organisations in the Balkans and beyond.

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Bozhil Hristov · Chief Executive Officer

As CEO, Bozhil Hristov sets the strategic direction for BKK and decides where the company invests its attention, talent and time. He anchors every engagement on measurable impact for clients, a strict evidentiary standard and uncompromising confidentiality. His leadership keeps BKK operating like a security team, not a slideware vendor.

“Cyber security is not about blocking noise; it is about understanding which signal can actually change the trajectory of your business — and preparing for it before the adversary does.”

Mission

Our mission is to keep critical organisations in the Balkans and allied regions operational even when they face determined and well funded threats. We intervene when incidents are already unfolding, when boards and regulators demand clear answers, and when conventional controls have already been bypassed. Whether the pressure comes from organised crime, state sponsored operators or trusted insiders, we focus on containing impact, restoring business continuity and documenting what really happened in language executives and regulators can align on.

Operating model

We work in small, senior teams that deploy quickly, stay close to the decision makers and then disappear when the work is complete. There are no large pyramids of juniors and no marketing theatre: the people who brief you are the same people who touch the systems and lead the response. Red teaming, digital forensics, incident response and threat hunting are coordinated as a single operation, and every engagement ends with specific, measurable improvements in detection, resilience and playbooks.

BKK combines operators with experience in counter-terrorism units, national security structures, critical infrastructure defence and leading private sector security teams. They are used to classified briefings, cross border coordination and situations where operational discipline matters more than presentation. Every team member is vetted, trained to handle confidential material and expected to challenge assumptions when evidence does not match the prevailing narrative.

Core principles

  • Authority – we speak plainly to boards, regulators and technical leaders, grounded in verifiable evidence and repeatable analysis.

  • Precision – every recommendation is tied to an explicit threat model, a business process and a quantified risk reduction rather than generic best practice.

  • Discipline – we work quietly, protect your reputation and escalate only when necessary, but we do not soften uncomfortable truths or downplay systemic risk.
